Welcome
While in Vermont, we took a ride to the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. I am glad we did. It was extremely interesting and even though I was dealing with a sprained ankle at the time we had a blast. Located at 6565 Woodstock Rd, Quechee Vermont, 05059. V.I.N.S. is open year-round. It is non-profit and member-supported according to their website.
While there we took a guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide who explained each bird’s history, why it was there, and answered any questions anyone had.
There are shows throughout the day. We only had time to catch one but if we had more time we would have definitely stayed for other shows.
If we ever are back in the area, this will definitely be a stop for us.
