South Carolina Geocaches

South Carolina Caches

Geocaching has become a really fun way for us to add to our adventures. Whenever we go somewhere, we find ourselves popping open the app to see what’s nearby. We don’t have a hand-held GPS so we use the phone app. If you would like to learn more about Geocaching in general, please read my blog post about Geocaching. I explain all the basic terms and what exactly Geocaching is. I also show and list what some of the containers look like that people use.

Description

As we walked one of the hiking trails at the park, we opened up the app and saw there were a few caches along the way. As we got close to the first, we noticed that it was off the trail a bit further than we wanted to venture. This was an unexpected walk/hike and we did not have our boots on. So yeah, fail. As we walked, further along, we noticed we were getting close to another one. Uh oh, what is in front of us? Muggles!!! A whole bunch of them!!! Wait, they weren’t muggles. It was a family of Geocachers!!! As we got closer our notification went off on the app and the whole family looked over at us and started laughing. They knew what we were up to…lol. We tried to cheat and ask the young ones where it was but they wouldn’t tell…lol. Hey, we tried. Thankfully this one was pretty easy.
