North American RV Park & Yurt Village is located in Coram Montana. The exact address is:
10640 Highway 2 East
Coram, MT 59913
Now that address might not mean anything at first glance but there is something really cool about this address. What? It’s literally 5 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park!!! North American RV Park & Yurt Village is a seasonal campground that closes sometime in September and reopens in May. At certain times of the year, Passport America is accepted. Such was the case when we went. We wound up getting our week for half off!!!
Pulling in off Highway 2 East you will see the office right away. It will be on your right side. The office had minimal supplies. Attached to the office was a common area with couches, chairs, a tv, pool table, and books. Off that room was a hallway that led to bathrooms/showers & the laundry room. If you were doing laundry the common room was a great place to relax while you wait. The check-in went easy as we had a reservation.
Off To Our Site
The park can be best described as being in 3 sections. The entrance, office, and RV sites behind the office would be in the 1st section. Across from the office are 4 yurts. The land surrounding the office houses a covered pavilion, basketball court, a volleyball net, and a couple of old tires I believe were part of a dog play area. Towards the rear of that island is a dump station. We did not get an escort but our site was easy enough to get to. It was behind the office.
The section we are calling section one behind the office was set up for shorter-term stays with the exception of the side of the outside row. Coincidently, that row is the only one with back-in sites in this section. All others were pull-through. There is a dumpster in the back end of this section. This is where all garbage for the park goes. You are responsible to get rid of your own trash. All sites here seemed to have picnic tables.
Section two consists of the A, B, D, & Cabin sites. The cabins start where the yurts leave off. There are 5 cabins and they are all basic. Most RV sites in this section are pull-through sites. This is the smallest section of the park.
This section looked like the best section of the park. It was the furthest from the office and was situated more in a “woodsy” area. It was also the largest and newest section according to one of the employees we spoke with. All sites in this section were pull-through full hook-up sites. There was also a remote building that housed nice individual showers/bathrooms that were fairly close to the cabins.
Date Of Stay: 9/21/21- 9/27/21 (7 Nights)
Our Review Summary
North American RV Park & Yurt Village
This park served our needs very well. Being so close to Glacier was a bonus. Our site was level and we had a good Verizon signal. The facilities and grounds were clean and well taken care of. It was quiet and a great place to relax. I would have to suspect that this park gets extremely busy during the summer so keep that in mind if you are looking to make reservations here. If we were coming back to this area we would definitely stay here again.
