Located near the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park from the Tennessee side you’ll find this cool little hiking trail called Noah Bud Ogle Farms. You enter from 441 to Historic Nature Trail/Cherokee Orchard Rd which loops around and becomes Roaring Fork Nature Trail.

Once you enter the loop there are numerous overlooks and places to pull over and hike from. Since we were only in Tennessee for about 5 days and had a 6-day bucket list, we only did one trail.

The Noah “Bud” Ogle Farm trail. Since we are just getting into day hikes, we chose this one because we were told it was a relatively easy one and it was. It took us about an hour to complete.

You will see a cabin, barn, and tub mill that was built by Noah in the late 19th Century. It is located near LeConte creek (formerly Mill Creek.) The trail was a mix of dirt sections, rocky sections, and footbridges with several moderate inclines.
