Welcome
We stopped at this KOA on our way up the east coast. It is conveniently located off I-81. There is a gas station at the entrance to the campground.

The check-in process went smoothly as it does with just about every KOA we have been too. The owner actually escorted us to our site. He took us through another site otherwise the turn into our pull-through would have been a little tough.

The sites seem a little close but I didn’t feel like our neighbor was right on top of us. It was long enough that we did not have to unhook the truck from the trailer. The site was level enough that we didn’t have to do anything more than putting a few blocks under one side set of tires.

We chatted with the owner for a bit after he got us in our site. He explained all the work scheduled for this campground. He seemed quite excited and proud of this campground and I’m quite sure when he gets done there will be some awesome improvements.

That’s not saying there were any problems with it as it stands. The store was well stocked, the restrooms were spotless, the grounds were neat and clean, and there was a nice little nature walk. There are a couple of chickens that are roaming around and love to be fed…lol.

Wifi was typical of any campground and the Verizon signal was good.

Final Thoughts
This campground sits on very hilly terrain. When we were escorted to our site we were taken through another site. If this campground had been full I am not sure if we would have been able to access our site. That being said, the owner is the one that escorted us and stated that he and his son were doing a lot of work to the park so hopefully, this situation will be remedied in the future.
We found it to be a nice quiet campground and we would definitely stay here again should we ever find ourselves in this area again.
