One of our favorite items in the RV. is our Hamilton Beach slow cooker. We consider it one of our most valuable tools. Especially since we started work camping.
All we do is set it up in the morning before we head off. By the time we come home, it’s done and dinner is served.
It comes with a thermometer probe for the meat which works awesome. The programmable digital display is easy to use. It also has clips to secure the cover to pot.
We have owned this product before we even started full-time RV’ing and it has always worked to perfection.
Oops, My Bad
We did have one mishap with the cover which was completely our fault. After we started full-timing we were still trying to learn the fastest way to pack and tie down our “stuff” inside the RV. One time we forget to check the cabinets and when we arrived at the campground, everything that was in that cabinet had been thrown all over the place. Unfortunately, the cover was in that cabinet and shattered to pieces.
We called customer service and they were extremely helpful. We had our new cover in about a week. We were back in business!!!
One of our favorite dishes to make is Pizza. Yes, pizza!!! Do you want to try it? OK, here’s the recipe.
7 oz Pizza Sauce
10 Buttermilk Biscuits
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Spray bottom of crockpot with cooking spray. Lay out the biscuits and pinch them together to form a crust and cover the entire bottom of the pot. Spread the sauce over your formed crust. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce.
Set to high temp for 2 hours. In 2 hours you will be enjoying some really good pizza!!!
Note: If you want to make it interesting, add whatever other toppings you would usually get on a pizza. If you use a meat topping, cook thoroughly before you add it in.
