As we made our way to Florida, we were almost through Arkansas when we decided we were tired and needed to get off the road.

We started our usual google search and found Delta Ridge RV park was fairly close. We called them and asked if they had a full hook up pull through available that was long enough that we would not have to unhook. He stated he did and we were set.

Phone Number Please

He asked us if he could have our phone number because he wanted to text us the directions from I-40. Even though we told him we had a GPS, he still wanted to text us directions. We agreed and gave him our phone number.

I am glad we did because we followed his texted directions and they were on the money. If we were following the GPS, we might have doubted where it told us to turn. In order to get to the campground, you actually turn into a supermarket parking lot. As you head for the front of the supermarket, you make another right and that is what leads you to the campground. We would have never believed the GPS…lol

Sitting Outside Under An EZ-Up

When we pulled in and drove up to the office building to check-in. The staff was actually sitting outside under an EZ-up style tent. They were just sitting back enjoying the day and checked us in right from there. They were very nice and one of them took us to our site.

This is a fairly small no-frills park. You get your site and hookups only. There is no cable or bathhouse facility. The site was pretty level and there were no issues with the hookups. Even though it was close to I-40, we did not hear any of the road noise. It was a great place to come in off the road and relax for the night.

Perfect To Grab Some Last Minute Groceries

Remember the supermarket I told you we pulled in to get to the campground? It was within walking distance so in the morning we walked over to it and did some quick shopping to replenish supplies. Upon returning we unhooked and were on our way. It was easy in/easy out campground.

The bottom line is if we were traveling through Arkansas and near Forrest City and we needed to get off the road for a night or two, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Date Of Stay: October 2017
