We are Dennis & Chris. We left our 9-5’s and home base on Long Island New York back in 2016. We are semi-retired and while we have a small pension income and medical benefits through my job, we still choose to work. While we contemplate different ways to make money on the road, at this point we have decided to workamp. Workamping is a great way to get to an area you would like to visit and explore while keeping your expenses down. We have a number of posts on workamping so be sure to check them out.
A Typical Start To A Workamper’s Day
We are currently in Milton Florida working at the KOA for an undetermined amount of time. We travel with a 2014 Ford F350, 2015 Salem Hemisphere travel trailer, and a 2001 Royal Star Venture motorcycle. Although we usually love to stay in an area for 4-6 months and explore as much of the area as we can and move on, we might be here a bit longer as we are taking a little break from bouncing back and forth across the country.

We would love to have you travel along with us. We would also love to meet up and either share a smores at the campfire or ride a scenic road with you. We always post a “Where Are We Now” picture on the bottom of the page (on a mobile device/sidebar on a desktop) so if you are near us, stop by and say hello. We also have a Ride With Us page that we will post any upcoming motorcycle rides. Be sure to check that page often as we are always planning something. You are always welcome to join us on a ride.
We try and make this website as easy as possible to navigate. We also love to add new features that we think you would love.
